London Dada Work 226; Two Thousand Feet Beach
Two Thousand Feet Beach
c. 2006 Michael St.Mark
( The Black Mountain, S. Wales )
.
Once upon a seabed
Many millions ago,
Compressed into stone,
Uplifted 2000 feet and
Worn into sand once more.
Now high on a sunny Welsh mountain
Forming the shores of a pool
Sheep take a dip and a sip,
Their hoofprints stamped all around.
So. . .
A two thousand feet beach with
Two thousand foot prints.
